Not Impossible Now was thrilled to hear from e-NABLE about a man who was inspired by Project Daniel to help a young boy in Brazil.
E-NABLE, a network of volunteers who use 3-D printing to help create assistive hand devices for those in need, told us about a man who was inspired by Not Impossible's Project Daniel to help a young boy in Brazil. Read their email to us below:
A man in Brazil was inspired by your "Daniel" video and set out to create a 3-D printed hand for a young man who begs for money in the streets, but was unable to get the materials he needed to finish it. And then he found our e-NABLE group and a design that would work and would not require as much to build and created a device for a little boy in the outskirts of Sao Paulo and will now use that design to go back and make a hand for the young man he wasn't able to create it for until now. Just thought you would like to know that your documentary helped connect Brazil to e-NABLE and now he is working hard to find a way to get 3D printers there and get some e-NABLE hands made for more people in his area. :)
